We invite you to be our guests in our comfortable, recently updated 1790's colonial style home. Originally home to a Revolutionary War colonel and his family of seven children, the house has been modified over the years. Most notable was the addition of a wonderful wraparound porch where you can relax and unwind from your day's travel. The house sits on 24 acres which abound with wildlife.

We are committed to assuring your stay will be relaxing and memorable. All guest rooms are newly renovated - each one is distinctive. All have private baths, restful chairs and lots of light. The original wide-board floors set off the easy charm of the carefully selected antique furnishings which make each room unique. The living room is yours to enjoy with games, puzzles, books or television.

Start your day with a hearty, homemade breakfast - fresh-baked scones, muffins or coffeecakes, specially prepared fruits, with hot pancakes, waffles, or any of a number of wonderful egg dishes. Coffee, tea, and the always-full cookie jar are available at any time. Afternoon tea features more fresh-baked goodies and either hot or cold drinks. The Shaker Hill Bed and Breakfast is in the heart of the Upper Valley, your gateway to a perfect New England Vacation. Let us be your guide.
